Family law issues frequently arise when communication between parties breaks down. Seamus endeavors to restore a degree of reasonableness at the early stages of a family law matter. However, where this is not possible, he will resolutely advocate for his clients throughout the litigation process.

He believes effective communication is essential for understanding and resolving client issues. He ensures every client is heard, and he keeps his clients informed about the best legal options that emerge from the progression of their files.

Seamus possesses a B.A in Communications from Simon Fraser University, an M.A. of Communications from York University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa where he studied family law. He can assist clients with family law matters including divorce, child support, spousal support, parenting time, property division, guardianship, child protection, cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, and protection orders.

Seamus believes access to justice is an essential component of a healthy, functioning democracy. He has represented Legal Aid clients throughout British Columbia and is dedicated to coaching clients who experience financial limitations.
